Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
25,590 lbs / 11,608 Kg = 29.6 x 12.0 " / 305 mm shells or 3.2 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.12
Metacentric height 5.7 ft / 1.7 m
Roll period: 16.6 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 51 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.58
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.03
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has raised forecastle
Block coefficient: 0.658
Length to Beam Ratio: 6.06 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 23.87 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 60 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 0.00 degrees
Stern overhang: 1.00 ft / 0.30 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 27.00 ft / 8.23 m
- Forecastle (20 %): 25.00 ft / 7.62 m (23.00 ft / 7.01 m aft of break)
- Mid (0 %): 25.00 ft / 7.62 m

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 139.3 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 183.4 %
Waterplane Area: 41,347 Square feet or 3,841 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 95 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 164 lbs/sq ft or 800 Kg/sq metre

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is cramped
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent

I can make the Ger/CB/1905 design study C2 work
By increasing the displacement, my flush-decked battlecruiser could make 27 knots. I increased the freeboard, and then the displacement. It really is large for the length and beam: 28,205 tons normal displacement. A nasty feature of Springsharp is that some parameters can disappear, if you change some other parameter, and sometimes, I'm afraid, I neglect to specify the number of rounds per gun in the main armament. I hope I have all that this time.
