Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
28,036 lbs / 12,717 Kg = 32.4 x 12.0 " / 305 mm shells or 2.9 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.05
Metacentric height 4.7 ft / 1.4 m
Roll period: 17.5 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 73 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.75
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.45
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
Block coefficient: 0.556
Length to Beam Ratio: 6.44 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 24.08 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 49 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -2.00 degrees
Stern overhang: -2.00 ft / -0.61 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 25.00 ft / 7.62 m
- Forecastle (20 %): 24.00 ft / 7.32 m
- Mid (80 %): 24.00 ft / 7.32 m (15.00 ft / 4.57 m aft of break)
- Quarterdeck (15 %): 15.00 ft / 4.57 m
- Stern: 15.00 ft / 4.57 m
- Average freeboard: 22.28 ft / 6.79 m
Ship tends to be wet forward
Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 84.7 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 179.9 %
Waterplane Area: 36,635 Square feet or 3,404 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 109 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 171 lbs/sq ft or 833 Kg/sq metre
Hull strength (Relative):
- Cross-sectional: 0.94
- Longitudinal: 1.81
- Overall: 1.00
Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is adequate
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent
Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform
Good seaboat, rides out heavy weather easily

My design for the Ger/BB/1905 worked extremely well
I was shocked at how well my German battleship design worked in Springsharp. I actually was able to increase the speed to 24 knots (from 23). I used my traditional displacement and dimensions, as they had always been:
