I was surprised that I had stability problems with the GB/BB/1912
I'm not sure that I have the specs exactly right, as I don't have the book along to check, but I know the broad parameters. The idea was a 25 knot ship with 9-15in guns and good armor. I worked from those premises. This is the report of what I ended up with, in order to have a balance of stability, strength, and seakeeping ability. I had to use the slider in Springsharp to get adequate stability (seems like cheating).
