Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 60 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.26
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.21
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise aft of midbreak, low quarterdeck ,
a normal bow and small transom stern
Block coefficient (normal/deep): 0.690 / 0.695
Length to Beam Ratio: 7.30 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 42.17 kts

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 50.4 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 292.3 %
Waterplane Area: 207,143 Square feet or 19,244 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 135 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 344 lbs/sq ft or 1,681 Kg/sq metre

A reader drew the "Fujimoto Dream Battleship" to my attention
I received an email with images and data for the "Fujimoto Dream Battleship" last night. As specified, the design is totally unworkable. In order to achieve their specifications, 12-20in BLR, 16-6.1in QF, 18-5in DP guns, 16in belt, 11in deck, 30 knot speed, 12,000nm range at 16 knots, I had to go "BIG" (Very BIG). This page describes the original specifications. The "Never Were" catalog has the pictures. The specifications are extremely unworkable, but I was able to at least get a valid Springsharp design in 3.0b1 Beta that had not obvious flaws, other than the size and deep draft of 37ft:
