Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
49,156 lbs / 22,297 Kg = 40.9 x 13.4 " / 340 mm shells or 8.0 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.17
Metacentric height 6.2 ft / 1.9 m
Roll period: 16.0 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 67 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.54
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.35
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has a flush deck,
a normal bow and a cruiser stern
Block coefficient (normal/deep): 0.546 / 0.555
Length to Beam Ratio: 7.79 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 27.20 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 46 %

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 84.5 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 161.6 %
Waterplane Area: 48,878 Square feet or 4,541 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 115 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 171 lbs/sq ft or 833 Kg/sq metre

My Ger/CB/1912 design
I tried this design for a German battlecruiser to be laid down in 1912. This is a "modified" German design, as I use English measurements, rather than metric, as I think in English. This is a 27 knot ship with coal-fired boilers and 8-13.4in/45 BLR and 14-6in/45 QF guns. Unlike the Mackensen class, this is a flush-decked design. I very nearly had this correct as entered, as I only had to tweak it to have an acceptable Springsharp design:
