The F/CL/1927 design
The F/CL/1927 design is a rather large vessel with a high speed and a modest armament. The main armament is now 9-6.1in QF guns in triple mounts. The AA armament is increased to 8-90mm guns in twin mounts and 24-47mm guns in twin mounts. The ship is well-protected against gunfire and not so well protected against underwater attack. At least the range is now 6,500nm at 15 knots. This is the Springsharp report:
