Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.56
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
Block coefficient: 0.554
Length to Beam Ratio: 6.88 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 23.45 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 52 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -2.00 degrees
Stern overhang: -2.00 ft / -0.61 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 28.00 ft / 8.53 m
- Forecastle (20 %): 26.00 ft / 7.92 m
- Mid (67 %): 26.00 ft / 7.92 m (18.00 ft / 5.49 m aft of break)

Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is cramped
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent
Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform
Excellent seaboat, comfortable, can fire her guns in the heaviest weather

German Armoured Cruiser: Ger/CA/1906
The date is just guesswork, but the ship otherwise matches that period, except for triple turrets. This is a ship of 550ft x 80ft x 26ft with 6-12in/45 BLR and 8-6in QF guns. The 6in guns are in barbettes. The 12in guns are in two triple turrets, one forward and one aft. The armour basis is 6in with a 3in deck. The thick deck armour caused the displacement to be greater than planned: 18,100 tons normal rather than 16,860 tons. The speed is 25 knots, so it is almost a battlecruiser. This is the Springsharp report:
