The higher power output version of the Ger/CB/1912 design can make 35 knots
The more radical recasting of the Ger/CB/1912 design can make 35 knots. I had thought that I would use 40 SHP/ton of machinery weight, although this is not that light, although it is 36 SHP/ton. To keep from having to balloon the displacement too much, I increased the draught, as this is a relatively cheap way to increase strength in Springsharp. This is the revised Springsharp report:
