Sorry for yet another trip through the Ger/BB/1905
I have two pages about the Ger/BB/1905 design that warrant a new effort with Springsharp. On eis a detailed armor specification and the other is a cross section. The ship was specified at 580ft x 90ft x 26.6ft and a normal displacement of 22,000 tons. The armament was 8-12in/45 and 12-4in QF guns. The armor basis was 10in. This time, the Springsharp design was easy to make work, and I was able to add range to what I had originally guessed. I decided it was too easy and changed the engines to a 1905 date. That meant reducing the capabilities. The result is a slower cruising speed and a very short range. The good news is that other capabilities were as specicified:
