A Super Lion "lite"
I was able to get a light version of the Super Lion to a point where the characteristics were acceptable. I wanted 6in armour, 30 knots, 10-15in, 14-6in, 2-4in AA guns, and a reasonable range. To achieve an acceptable design, the beam grew to 100ft. The issue was the recoil from the 10-15in gun broadside. Springsharp is concerned about such things, so therefore, I am. I was able to keep the displacement down to the range I wanted. This is the Springsharp report (if you see any issues, I would appreciate knowing):
