An incremental advance to the GB/CL/1923
The increase in performance to the GB/CL/1923 is not huge, but the result is still a better design than its predecessor from 1921. This ship has a similar armament: 8-6in QF, 6-4.7in AA, 24-2pdr AA, and 16-21in TT. The speed is now 33.75 knots for a range of 7,800nm at 15 knots. The main armament is light, but the armour basis is 4in with a 2in deck. This is the Springsharp report:
