The J/DD/1933 design
The J/DD/1933 design is larger, has dual-purpose 5in guns and 10-24in TT. The range is increased to 5,400nm at 15 knots. Admittedly, this is not trying to much different than the real Japanese destroyers. This is the Springsharp report:
