HMS Unapproachable armoured cruiser-variant (Corrected)
This is my variant version of the HMS Unapproachable fast armoured cruiser. I based my variant design on the specification on page 18 of John Roberts' book, Battlecruisers. If I was to build the ship, I would use turbines and oil fuel, and somewhat lightweight machinery. The armour is quite limited, in that the belt height is just 12ft. It is rather like a more modern heavy cruiser in that respect, except that I felt obligated to make the belt be basically complete. This is the correcte3d version. This is my Springsharp report:
