The BBX "Mod. A" version
I had this concept about how to turn my friend Cliff's BBX design into a fast battleship, with a 28 knot speed. I realized when looking at the specification that the original version wanted 30 SHP/ton machinery, not the heavier machinery that I used. The BBX Mod.A had 40 SHP/ton machinery specified. Amazingly enough, my estimate of 180,000 SHP was pretty close to what Springsharp calculates. This is the revised Springsharp report:
