The GB/CB/1916 design study

The specification for the GB/CB/1916 will not work as I had originally hoped:
GB/CB/1916
6-18in (190 ton) and 16-5in (5 ton) guns
Cp=0.56  Cm=0.95  C=0.29 (hull wt coeff)
787-1/2ft x 90ft x 53ft (depth)  draft=30.7ft deep
32,000 tons standard 33,150 tons full load
10,900 tons   hull
 5,225 tons   machinery
 1,240 tons   aux machinery
 2,806 tons   armament
 9,269 tons   protection
210,0000 SHP at 40 SHP/ton of machinery weight

The original beam was too narrow to allow for the armament. I had to increase the beam to 98ft and increase the draft to 31ft. I had greatly underestimated the hull weight that would be needed. That allowed the design to work:
GB/CB/1916, Great Britain Battlecruiser laid down 1916 (Engine 1950)
