I have a specification for a design study of a German battleship, circa 1916, with 9-16.5in guns. The guns are 130 tons and fire a 2,480 lbs shot at 2,800 ft/sec. The ship is 755ft x 110ft x 32ft. The ship has a 120,000 SHP power plant. According to Springsharp, that will drive the ship at 27 knots, which is at the lower end of a fast battleship speed. I went with 16in armour basis, as there seemed to be excess capacity in the design. This is the weight specification:
18,000 tons hull
4,000 tons Armament
2,670 tons Machinery
16,730 tons Protection
3,600 tons Miscellaneous
This is the Springsharp report:

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
84,868 lbs / 38,496 Kg = 37.8 x 16.5 " / 419 mm shells or 15.0 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.16
Metacentric height 7.7 ft / 2.3 m
Roll period: 16.7 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 64 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.83
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.29
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has low quarterdeck ,
a ram bow and a cruiser stern
Block coefficient (normal/deep): 0.656 / 0.662
Length to Beam Ratio: 6.86 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 27.48 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 51 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -2.00 degrees
Stern overhang: -2.00 ft / -0.61 m
Freeboard (% = length of deck as a percentage of waterline length):
Fore end, Aft end

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 75.6 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 190.2 %
