The longer version of the F/CA/1917

The longer version of the F/CA/1917 is a much better design. The draft is still too shallow, even when I increased it to 22ft in this version. The hull form is too full for what the ship is. The original concept had a 4in deck and with the 729ft length, that was easily achieved, along with a 34 knot maximum speed. The armament is still 8-9.4in and 8-4in QF guns, with 6-21in TT. The belt is a thick 8in, although it is very narrow at 8ft tall. The design is really a modern version of the 1880's belted cruiser. This is the Springsharp report:

Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.09
 Metacentric height 3.9 ft / 1.2 m
 Roll period: 16.0 seconds
 Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 52 %
   - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.58
 Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.04

Hull form characteristics:
 Hull has low quarterdeck ,
an extended bulbous bow and a cruiser stern
