Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
63,099 lbs / 28,621 Kg = 37.4 x 15.0 " / 381 mm shells or 11.6 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.13
Metacentric height 6.8 ft / 2.1 m
Roll period: 16.9 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 75 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.67
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.51
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
Block coefficient: 0.599
Length to Beam Ratio: 6.67 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 26.46 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 40 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -1.00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0.00 ft / 0.00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 28.00 ft / 8.53 m
- Forecastle (20 %): 25.00 ft / 7.62 m
- Mid (59 %): 25.00 ft / 7.62 m (17.00 ft / 5.18 m aft of break)
- Quarterdeck (15 %): 17.00 ft / 5.18 m
- Stern: 17.00 ft / 5.18 m

The GB/BB/1915, evidently from August 2001
The GB/BB/1912 design for my friend Cliff, did not work very well in SpringSharp. I had to lower freeboard and greatly increase the displacent (to 36,500 tons, normal). The original intent was for something like 32,500 tons. I confirmed that the secondary armament was intended to be 14-6in QF guns. I am reasonably certain that Cliff wanted a 14in armor basis. This is the SpringSharp report:
