Another try at a British fast battleship in 1906
I am still very interested in the idea of a British fast battleship in 1906. This is the sort of ship that William Hovgaard was advocating. I am using coal-fired boilers, with some oil, which seems reasonable for the time. The ship has an 11in armour basis with a 3in deck and 2in torpedo bulkhead. There are 10-12in/50 BLR and 16-4in QF guns. The speed is a fast 25.5 knots. I am getting an error message from Springsharp 3.0b1 Beta that I do not know how to correct, as having geared turbines is not allowed and is not reasonable. This is the Springsharp report:
