HMS Unapproachable revisited
In 1904, Admiral Fisher was very much enamoured of a "low profile" for warships. The drawing of HMS Unapproachable in Dr. Oscar Parkes' book, British Battleships, has only a pole mast, abaft the third funnel. The ship is flush-decked and has a mixed armament. The speed was apparently intended to be 25.5 knots. The armament was 4-9.2in/50, 12-7.5in/50, and 12-4in QF guns. I have a new photo that reflects this layout:
