An alternative "Super Fast" battlecruiser in Springsharp 3.0b1 Beta

I was finally able to design an acceptable "Super Fast" battlecruiser, thanks to Springsharp 3.0b1 Beta. This is a 40-knot ship with 4-17in guns and an 8in armour basis. This is the Springsharp report:
GB/CB/1921 Super Fast-Alt Version, Great Britain Battlecruiser laid down 1921 (Engine 1937)

Displacement:
 34,567 t light; 35,809 t standard; 37,362 t normal; 38,604 t full load

Dimensions: Length (overall / waterline) x beam x draught (normal/deep)
 (876.54 ft / 867.00 ft) x 102.00 ft x (31.00 / 31.72 ft)
 (267.17 m / 264.26 m) x 31.09 m x (9.45 / 9.67 m)

Armament:
      4 - 17.00" / 432 mm 45.0 cal guns - 2,475.00lbs / 1,122.64kg shells, 90 per gun
Breech loading guns in turret on barbette mounts , 1921 Model
2 x Twin mounts on centreline ends, evenly spread
Weight of broadside 9,900 lbs / 9,900 kg

Armour:
   - Belts: Width (max) Length (avg) Height (avg)
 Main: 8.00" / 203 mm 565.00 ft / 172.21 m 12.00 ft / 3.66 m
 Ends: Unarmoured
Main Belt covers 100 % of normal length
Main belt does not fully cover magazines and engineering spaces

   - Torpedo Bulkhead:
  2.00" / 51 mm 565.00 ft / 172.21 m 30.00 ft / 9.14 m

   - Gun armour: Face (max) Other gunhouse (avg) Barbette/hoist (max)
 Main: 9.00" / 229 mm 5.00" / 127 mm 8.00" / 203 mm

   - Armour deck: 2.00" / 51 mm, Conning tower: 9.00" / 229 mm

Machinery:
 Oil fired boilers, steam turbines,
 Geared drive, 6 shafts, 344,897 shp / 257,293 Kw = 40.00 kts
 Range 5,600nm at 15.00 kts
Bunker at max displacement = 2,795 tons

Complement:
 1,343 - 1,746

Cost:
 £8.837 million / $35.347 million

Distribution of weights at normal displacement:
 Armament: 1,570 tons, 4.2 %
 Armour: 7,194 tons, 19.3 %
    - Belts: 2,286 tons, 6.1 %
    - Torpedo bulkhead: 1,254 tons, 3.4 %
    - Armament: 1,217 tons, 3.3 %
    - Armour Deck: 2,220 tons, 5.9 %
    - Conning Tower: 217 tons, 0.6 %
 Machinery: 9,559 tons, 25.6 %
 Hull, fittings & equipment: 16,715 tons, 44.7 %
 Fuel, ammunition & stores: 2,795 tons, 7.5 %
 Miscellaneous weights: 0 tons, 0.0 %

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
   44,877 lbs / 20,356 Kg = 18.3 x 17.0 " / 432 mm shells or 5.2 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.24
 Metacentric height 7.6 ft / 2.3 m
 Roll period: 15.5 seconds
 Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 52 %
   - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.43
 Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.03

Hull form characteristics:
 Hull has a flush deck,
a normal bow and small transom stern
 Block coefficient (normal/deep): 0.477 / 0.482
 Length to Beam Ratio: 8.50 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 34.15 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 60 %
 Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 9.00 degrees
 Stern overhang: 4.00 ft / 1.22 m
Freeboard (% = length of deck as a percentage of waterline length):
    Fore end, Aft end
    - Forecastle: 20.00 %, 35.00 ft / 10.67 m, 31.00 ft / 9.45 m
    - Forward deck: 30.00 %, 31.00 ft / 9.45 m, 30.00 ft / 9.14 m
    - Aft deck: 35.00 %, 30.00 ft / 9.14 m, 30.00 ft / 9.14 m
    - Quarter deck: 15.00 %, 30.00 ft / 9.14 m, 32.00 ft / 9.75 m
    - Average freeboard: 30.82 ft / 9.39 m

Ship space, strength and comments:
 Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 130.9 %
  - Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 257.2 %
Waterplane Area: 59,993 Square feet or 5,574 Square metres
 Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 106 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 186 lbs/sq ft or 908 Kg/sq metre
 Hull strength (Relative):
  - Cross-sectional: 0.95
  - Longitudinal: 1.66
  - Overall: 1.00
Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is cramped
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent
