The Ger/BB/1909 design concept
The 1909 design for a 24 knot ship with 9-12in/50 guns and 8-6in QF guns with dimensions of 640ft x 105ft x 26.9 ft was probably the genesis for the Ger/BB/1909 design, not a British design. The version that I actually took to a more detailed design had a 30ft draft and a greater displacement. I used that for a Springsharp design:
