It takes a big ship: the GB/BB/1905 Battleship-Cruiser

This is a design study for a 1905 British battleship-cruiser (or fast battleship). I had decided that I wanted an armament with 10-12in/45 and 12-6in QF guns with an armour basis of 11in. That, with a 25 knot speed means a larger ship. Still, the displacement is not too out of hand. As you would hope, this is a smaller ship than a Queen Elizabeth class ship from 1912. I am going with the anachronistic all oil fuel in 1905, so that is open for debate. Otherwise, the design is pretty straight forward, although it depends on lightweight machinery.
