The Ger/CB/1915A is an odd-looking ship
The Ger/CB/1915A battlecruiser is odd-looking, as drawn in my old pencil sketch. The ship has a tower mast, two large funnels, and a mainmast set forward of the aft funnel. The main armament is in two turrets forward, with the secondary armament in turrets grouped amidships. The hull is flush decked and has a flared bow. There is this large, empty expanse aft. I had dreams of reaching ridiculously high speeds with the 961ft length on just 269,000 SHP. The reality is that the Springsharp design can reach 34 knots. The displacement is about 5,000 tons greater than I had hoped would work. This is the Springsharp report:
