The Ger/CL/1917 fast light cruiser
The exact designation of this design is not written in the Red Book, but I am calling it the Ger/CL/1917. The ship was intended to be similar to the later Italian very fast light cruisers. The armament is 8-6in QF guns in turrets, 4-4in QF guns in mounts with shields, and 4-23.6in TT. Protection is limited to the turrets and barbettes. The displacement and draft are greater than was planned, to satisfy Springsharp. The original plan was for 5,000 tons Standard and 6,500 tons full load. The draft was intended to be 16.3ft at normal load.
