The Ger/BB/1907 design
The Ger/BB/1907 design actually came out lighter in Springsharp 3.0b2 than originally designed. The power to reach 24 knots is almost exactly right in my 1971 design, at 54,000 SHP, when Springsharp asks for 52,180 SHP. That is lower due to the displacement being less for the specified armament, armour, and speed. The idea was to have a 24 knot ship with 8-12in/50 BLR and 12-4in QF guns. The belt was 8in/13in, while the decks were 3in+1in. This is the Springsharp report:
