The Ger/BB/1909 design in Springsharp 3.0b2 Beta
I just tried the Ger/BB/1909 in the lastest version of Springsharp, 3.0b2 Beta. The machinery, for the planned 60,000 SHP is lighter than I had expected and the protection is heavier. The speed as designed was 23 knots, but 60,000 SHP is good for 23.7 knots. The armament includes 9-12in/50 BLR and 8-6in QF guns. the armour basis is 14in, with 6in and 4in deck armour, although so far, it has to be lumped as 10 inches of deck armour.
