The GB/CB/1905 Mod.2, based on what Frank Fox and D.K. Brown told me

Both Frank Fox and D.K. Brown cautioned me against having a battlecruiser with 4-12in guns. They also suggested that the design needed more than just 4in of side armor. D.K. Brown thought that 6in would be adequate side armor, but Frank Fox would have preferred more, as I remember. This is my Springsharp report with 8-12in BLR guns, 12-6in QF guns, 9in side armor, 3in deck armor, and 33 knot speed.
