I read where D. K. Brown mentioned that the Broke class DL's may have been inspired by the Super Swift concept

In his book, The Grand Fleet, D. K. Brown says that some suspected that the Broke class DL's, originally built for Chile, were inspired by the Super Swift concept. They had the same armament: 6-4in QF guns. They were slower and smaller, however. The Broke armament layout may well have been that planned for the Super Swift ships, not what I have shown. The layout with a single 4in gun at each end, with pairs of 4in guns on the beam were actually how the second group of Broke class ships were completed.
