The GB/BB/1941 is sort of a British analog to the US Iowa class ships
The GB/BB/1941 fast battleship is a British answer to the American Iowa class ships. The one drawback is that the ship does not take advantage of its length to reach a higher speed, such as 33 or 34 knots. I will experiment to see what might be done to increase the speed of the GB/BB/1941 design up to something comparable to the Iowas. The natural speed for the length is something like 33.89 knots, so at 31 knots, the GB/BB/1941 is underachieving.
