Sorry, I couldn't resist creating a radical design: GB/CB/1941 36 knots
Just because I could, I created a 36-knot version of the GB/CB/1941 design with 9-16in BLR, 20-4.5in DP, and 52-2pdr AA guns. The armour is greatly reduced, so the belt is just 9in. The power involved requires six shafts. This is the Springsharp report:
