The up-gunned Kaiser class

I am not sure that my design for up-gunning the Kaiser class is correct. A better solution might have been to just go with 6-17in (43cm) guns. That way, the two turrets in echelon would be removed and new barbettes and turrets would be built for the bow and stern guns. There would still be one turret forward, now with 2-17in guns and two turrets aft, with one in the superfiring position. Each of those would have 2-17in guns, giving a total of 6-17in guns. My initial solution requires a massive reconstruction amidships to add a barbette and turret on the centerline, between the funnels.
