My attempt at the Seydlitz upgunned with 6-17in guns
I tried designing the battlecruiser Seydlitz, modified to have 6-17in guns, with one twin turret on the forecastle and two turrets aft, one in the superfiring position. The old turrets and barbettes in echelon are removed. The speed is 27 knots. The Seydlitz would outgun the Renown and Repulse, although the Seydlitz would be slower. The Seydlitz is much better protected, however. This is the Springsharp report:
