The Kaiser class with 6-17in guns
I did what I suggested and ran a Springsharp design for an up-gunned Kaiser class with 6-17in guns. I did away with bulges and kept the speed at 21 knots. There are 2-17in guns forward and 4-17in guns aft. The displacement was greatly reduced, down to 27,700 tons normal. This is the Springsharp report:
