Japanese cruiser design J/CA/1916
The J/CA/1916 design has lighter weight machinery, as the power output was too low with what Springsharp judges to be the normal weight for machinery in 1916. This design has 8-8in guns in twin turrets with an AA armament and torpedo tubes. The speed is now 32 knots and the range is 7,500nm at 15 knots. This is the Springsharp report:
