The "classic" version of the GB/CB/1905 design

I experimented with the machinery date to achieve the needed strength, while not ballooning the displacement, excessively. The ship is the usual that goes with the photo:

The ship is nominally 25,000 tons, with 4-12in/45 and 9-6in QF guns. the armour basis is 4in. This is the Springsharp report:

 Miscellaneous weights: 0 tons, 0.0 %

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
   29,079 lbs / 13,190 Kg = 33.7 x 12.0 " / 305 mm shells or 3.3 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.32
 Metacentric height 6.4 ft / 1.9 m
 Roll period: 14.1 seconds
 Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 66 %
   - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.35
 Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.31

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
 Block coefficient: 0.564
 Length to Beam Ratio: 9.06 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 27.75 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 55 %
