I implemented the Ger/BB/1907 design in Springsharp using a detailed inboard profile and specifications from the Blue Book. There is so much excess capacity in the design, that I was able to give the ship a 27 knot speed with 1907 machinery. These are the original specifications:
Standard Displacement: 25,847 tons
Dimensions: 620ft x 105ft x 26ft
Armament: 8-12in/50, 12-4in QF guns
Cost: £2.3 Million
Cp=0.56, Cm=0.95
54,000 SHP = 24 knots
Weights:
800 tons armament
4,000 tons machinery
7,547 tons protection
11,500 tons hull
2,000 tons miscellaneous

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
41,609 lbs / 18,874 Kg = 48.2 x 12.0 " / 305 mm shells or 5.9 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.24
Metacentric height 8.0 ft / 2.4 m
Roll period: 15.6 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 56 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.30
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.12
Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
Block coefficient: 0.599
Length to Beam Ratio: 5.90 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 24.90 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 56 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): -2.00 degrees
Stern overhang: -2.00 ft / -0.61 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 29.00 ft / 8.84 m
- Forecastle (20 %): 26.00 ft / 7.92 m
- Mid (68 %): 26.00 ft / 7.92 m (18.00 ft / 5.49 m aft of break)
- Quarterdeck (15 %): 18.00 ft / 5.49 m
- Stern: 18.00 ft / 5.49 m
- Average freeboard: 23.68 ft / 7.22 m
Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 101.7 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 195.2 %
Waterplane Area: 47,589 Square feet or 4,421 Square metres
