The fast battleship version of the Super Lion concept

The really bulked-up version of the Super Lion fast battleship version of the concept has a Standard displacement of 45,740 tons. The dimensions are somewhat similar to the Vanguard. The Super Lion fast battleship has 10-15in/42 and 14-6in QF guns with a 13in armour basis and a 3.5in deck. The target speed is still 30 knots. To achieve that requires rather lightweight machinery (26.4 SHP/ton). We will later look at the battlecruiser version. This is a photo of one of the ships:
