The later version of the Ger/BB/1909 design
This is my revision to the Ger/BB/1909 design based on my "German-looking" drawing and specification from later in 1971. The armor basis was increased to 14in, although the turret roof, sides, and rear were only 6in. With a displacement of 30,760 tons, I had expected to need 75,000 SHP to reach 24 knots, but Springsharp only required 66,327 SHP. This is the revised Springsharp report:
