The smaller version of the Ger/CB/1911 design works as planned
I tried the 28,250 ton version of the Ger/CB/1911 design, and it works as planned. 30 knots is easily reached with the same armour and armament as the 34,500 ton version. in some respects, the smaller version is a better ship, given the superlatives in the Springsharp report:
