The Ger/CL/1915 (not Ger/CL/1916) revised design

The next page in the Red Book gives the correct designation of the light cruiser and the intended armouring plan. That plan created difficulties, but I was able to get a fairly viable Springsharp report by sacrificing other capabilities, so that the armour could be carried. The displacement rose sharply to 7,300 tons normal. I did have to fudge and increase the draft to 18ft. The speed feel to 29.5 knots and the range to 4,500nm at 12 knots. This is the Springsharp report:
Ger/CL/1915, Germany Light Cruiser laid down 1915

 Miscellaneous weights: 0 tons, 0.0 %

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
   8,122 lbs / 3,684 Kg = 75.2 x 6.0 " / 152 mm shells or 1.3 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.18
 Metacentric height 2.3 ft / 0.7 m
 Roll period: 13.4 seconds
 Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 59 %
   - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.37
 Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.18

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
 Block coefficient: 0.623
 Length to Beam Ratio: 9.90 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 21.79 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 61 %
 Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 4.00 degrees
 Stern overhang: 2.00 ft / 0.61 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
    - Stem: 28.00 ft / 8.53 m
    - Forecastle (20 %): 26.00 ft / 7.92 m
    - Mid (32 %): 26.00 ft / 7.92 m (18.00 ft / 5.49 m aft of break)
    - Quarterdeck (15 %): 18.00 ft / 5.49 m
    - Stern: 18.00 ft / 5.49 m
    - Average freeboard: 20.72 ft / 6.32 m

Ship space, strength and comments:
 Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 181.6 %
  - Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 135.8 %
Waterplane Area: 17,030 Square feet or 1,582 Square metres
