My really radical light cruiser

I have a light cruiser design dating from the early 1970's that is very radical. It has almost no protection. Springsharp required me to give armor to the turret faces and barbettes, which I had been prepared to leave unprotected. The best that I could dor speed was only 35 knots. That requires the lightest possible machinery. The dimensions are 555ft x 50ft x 16.3ft. The standard displacement is 5,000 tons with a 6,500 ton deep load displacement. I have tried this design before, but not with the lightest machinery. The main armament is 8-6in/50 QF guns. This is the Springsharp report:
Ger/CL/1919 Fast, Enter country Enter ship type laid down 1916 (Engine 1950)

Displacement:
 5,531 t light; 5,719 t standard; 6,000 t normal; 6,225 t full load

Dimensions: Length overall / water x beam x draught
 555.00 ft / 555.00 ft x 50.00 ft x 16.30 ft (normal load)
 169.16 m / 169.16 m x 15.24 m x 4.97 m

Armament:
      8 - 6.00" / 152 mm guns (4x2 guns), 108.00lbs / 48.99kg shells, 1916 Model
Quick firing guns in turrets (on barbettes)
on centreline ends, evenly spread, 2 raised mounts - superfiring
      4 - 4.00" / 102 mm guns in single mounts, 32.00lbs / 14.51kg shells, 1916 Model
Quick firing guns in deck mounts with hoists
   on side, evenly spread
Weight of broadside 992 lbs / 450 kg
Shells per gun, main battery: 120
 4 - 23.6" / 599.44 mm above water torpedoes

Armour:
   - Gun armour: Face (max) Other gunhouse (avg) Barbette/hoist (max)
 Main: 0.80" / 20 mm - 0.70" / 18 mm

   - Conning tower: 3.25" / 83 mm

Machinery:
 Oil fired boilers, steam turbines,
 Geared drive, 4 shafts, 88,189 shp / 65,789 Kw = 35.00 kts
 Range 3,300nm at 15.00 kts
Bunker at max displacement = 506 tons

Complement:
 340 - 443

 £0.971 million / $3.882 million

Distribution of weights at normal displacement:
 Armament: 124 tons, 2.1 %
 Armour: 84 tons, 1.4 %

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
   5,333 lbs / 2,419 Kg = 49.4 x 6.0 " / 152 mm shells or 0.9 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.08
 Metacentric height 2.1 ft / 0.6 m
 Roll period: 14.6 seconds

   - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.77
 Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.53

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
 Block coefficient: 0.464
 Length to Beam Ratio: 11.10 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 23.56 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 59 %

    - Average freeboard: 23.04 ft / 7.02 m

Ship space, strength and comments:
 Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 129.6 %
  - Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 192.8 %
Waterplane Area: 17,913 Square feet or 1,664 Square metres
 Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 113 %
