The 16in gun version of the design series

This is towards the high end of the series of designs, of which I previously posted the 12in gun version. The 16in gun version does not work as well. I would guess that the reason is that the relatively shallow draft decreases seakeeping and composite strength in SpringSharp. The roiginal specification follows:
Displacement= 46,132 tons

9-16in guns

L= 814ft
B= 120ft
D= 30ft

Cp= 0.58
Cm= 0.95

Speed= 29 knots

Belt= 14in
Decks= 4in + 2in

This version seems more heavily protected, and other factors suffer, due to that. This is the Springsharp report:
Ger/CB/1937 16inch, Germany Battlecruiser laid down 1937

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
 Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
   69,130 lbs / 31,357 Kg = 33.8 x 16.0 " / 406 mm shells or 12.3 torpedoes
 Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.21
 Metacentric height 9.3 ft / 2.8 m
 Roll period: 16.5 seconds
 Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 52 %
   - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.38
 Seaboat quality  (Average = 1.00): 1.04

Hull form characteristics:
 Hull has a flush deck
 Block coefficient: 0.551
 Length to Beam Ratio: 6.78 : 1
 'Natural speed' for length: 28.53 kts
 Power going to wave formation at top speed: 49 %
 Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 50
 Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 3.00 degrees
 Stern overhang: 2.00 ft / 0.61 m
 Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
    - Stem:  28.00 ft / 8.53 m
    - Forecastle (20 %): 20.50 ft / 6.25 m
    - Mid (50 %):  20.50 ft / 6.25 m
    - Quarterdeck (15 %): 20.50 ft / 6.25 m
    - Stern:  20.50 ft / 6.25 m
    - Average freeboard: 21.10 ft / 6.43 m
 Ship tends to be wet forward

Ship space, strength and comments:
 Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 81.9 %
  - Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 169.4 %
