The "modernized" HMS Narcissus
My modernized HMS Narcissus is not a memorable design. It turned out as sort of a WWII-looking convoy cruiser with a 22 knot speed. The armament is 4-8in, 6-4inAA, 8-40mm AA, and 4-20mm AA guns. The belt is 8in with a 2in deck. It has 1.5in anti-torpedo bulkhead. The range is 6,500 miles at 12 knots. This is one of my series of designs that use old ship dimesions with an anachronistically modern look. The Narcissus has two funnels and a pole foremast and stub mainmast.
