To get a useful fast battleship version of the Super Lion, the displacement really balloons
I made another attempt at a fast battleship version of Admiral Fisher's Super Lion concept for a 30 knot capital ship with 10-15in guns. The way that I have structured the design, I had to let the displacement grow considerably. The dimensions became 812ft x 108ft x 33ft and the displacement was 45,875 tons. The armour basis was 13 inches. I did not use the "all-or-nothing" scheme, as it seems inappropriate. I also did not use the wide belt of uniform thickness that I usually like. This is the Springsharp report. I have been looking at my two alternative photos of the Super Lion and decided to try this again.
